I'm more of a lurker than a contributor in here.....but still felt i needed to shout....I PASSED!!!!

A day of intense training, only to discover afterwards that I can't sit the test on my own bike (has a km-only speedo). So then I had a mad rush to collect a training school bike last night to try to get used to it for today. The bike sounded rough as anything, but fortunately it only cut out once.....on leaving the test centre......after getting my pass certificate Laughing

So now I need to try to think of enough excuses to trade in my 125 for something a little smoother (read: faster).

Very well done indeed. Cool

Enjoy the freedom from L's, their time of haunting has come to an end. Laughing

Cheers folks.

DLAM - that's what I was thinking, then all three of us who were so nervous back in December (remember?) will have passed.

I've already ripped the L's off, but have resisted the temptation to do a couple of junctions of the M1 - my little TW125 may not be the most comfortable ride (the wind buffeting doesn't bear thinking about......even at only 60mph Laughing )

Also managed to ride straight past the local Honda dealer.....not sure how long I'll be able to resist having a peek tho....

Andi, as Leicester says, you'll be ok. Mine only has km - no mph marks at all. I mentioned it to the examiner after the test and he said he would have turned me away with a km-only speedo.

I must say, even tho I passed, I wouldn't recommend changing bikes with less than 24 hours to go!

Good luck with your test Andi.
