I know this sounds weird but my nsr seems to have slowed down since in the last few months. Ive had it for about 7mnths now, its an O2' plate, and has got 10k on the clock. Got it derestricted about a month into owning it. All was well until a couple of months ago when i noticed it just seemed slightly more sluggish to get through the power band from 8k - 11k. Now i know some people may jus say ive jus got used to the acceleration and it jus seems slower but im positive its not as quick as when i first got it derestricted.
I practically done a full service on it recently to see if it helps btu no change ( new plug, degreased engine, new oil, new g-box oil). I also plan to clean the air filter to see if that helps.

Has anyone else had this problem or got any suggestions to help me?

Cheers

Have you de-coked the top of the engine and the power valves? I would also check the power valve adjustment. Check the air filter, perhaps clean out the carb.

has it down 10k miles or 10km? at 10,000 miles it might be in need of a rebuild, get a compression test done.

you probably need a de-carbonisation of your top engine , this should have been done at 7500 miles . have a look what i suggest here :
