Got a e mail today from M&P.

It featured their new product, the tailswinger. It enables you to pivot the bike from one wheel swinging the other end round.

Great idea Thumbs Up

But the price Shocked

£60 is a lot for somthing you could bodge together yourself for a few quid!

I just pick mine up and move it, much easier. Razz

Picking up and dragging the tail works even on a beamer! Not that it's safe without someone holding the front on a bike that heavy... Shifty

Takes a lot space to turn the bike around though. You'd need a double garage/driveway. Confused I don't have the space. Nice idea though.

There's been one around for ages but only works with centre stands though. Turns it on the spot.

If you've got space to use that you've got space to do a semi-donut Smile.

Balls to that, it's a piece of pee to turn a bike on the stand!
One born every minute I suppose.

It's not hard to spin the bike around on it's stand. Just about finding its pivot point and balancing it.

I'm only 16 and can do it on rsvr's and the like at work.

It's aimed at the people who want to put the bike flat against the end of the garage or somesuch I'd say, although it's possible to pick up the back end and swing it around that little beasty looks a fair bit easier. Pivoting on the stand wouldn't allow you to get close enough to snug the bike right up to the end of the available space.
Not a bad idea all in all.

Yeah, spot on. I put my bike parallel to the back wall of the garage. The the mrs' car goes in front. Keeps her happy and she its extra security for the bike.

I usually just lift it round, but saw the tailswinger and thought great i'll get one. Thought it would be £9.99 or something!
