 |
|
Hi all, Im Kim & Im from north notts. I used to have a little 50cc Honda X8RX Scooter. absolutely loved it but had to sell it to afford my second car. My second car will be paid for at the end of this year so Im starting to look about and see what bikes are on the market that I like.
I wouldnt mind a 50cc or a 125cc.
Ive been looking at the Peugeot XR6 50CC & the Riegu RS2 50cc
If I go for a 125 I like the Honda NSR
Any advise or views on these bikes would be much appreciated.
Also I have a UK Driving licence and passed my CBT about 6 years ago. Will I need to do a CBT again ?
Thanks
Kim |

Before you decide on a bike I'd advise you to at least take a look at some older 125s i.e. RD125LC, AR125, NS125, TZR125, RG125.
I have found that I prefer them to the newer 125's, but not only that, most of them can be bought cheaper and are often in a lower insurance group to some of the newer Race Replicas and Super Sports bikes.
The NSR is a good choice but I have read a number of reviews that dub the NSR as; slow, uneconomical and expensive. On the other hand though, they are fun, stylish and confidence-inspiring bikes (IMO).
Good luck with your decision, remember to research before you buy. ____________________ "You know even if I live to be a 100 years old which is highly unlikely I must say, but if anyone mentions 1977 then a crooked smile will come to my lips, I know it will. Hi,
The NSR is a nice bike to learn on. I have one, it's my first bike and i find it fun, reliable and easy to learn the roads and ride. If you really like it then go for it!
