one of the chefs at work was sayn other day yamaha are payin half insurance on some of their bikes? is this the same shite he alwys talks or true?

They had offers on for Brand New R6's and some other models a while ago. (Which they'd had it a year ago!)

But Yamaha insurance were cheapest for me last year anyway as I'd bought a brand new bike.

They more than likely are giving insurance (like some car manufacturers now) but it will be on a new bike deal. Not for anyone with a Yamaha bike no matter what the age! Laughing Wink

lol ye i guesed that! chesterfield bikes had loads of stock he said an they were gettin yami to pay for half the insurance or summink. how much is the new r6 then? an (think we need yams for this) would you say i can insure it for under a grand an a half at 17 livin in an a postcode with 1yr nc? cheers. houlsby

Err, pardon?

I think you're asking if you would be able to insure (or half insure) a bike through Yamaha?

Best thing would be to give Yamaha insurance a call, or, better still, go into the dealership and ask what the deal is. They'll have all the info.
