For the record, i raced my mates RX50 when mine was stock, and his had an MK exhaust. Mine kept up to about 55. (indicated) But mines far from stock now.

Wow, you've just proved to everyone your vast knowledge on this subject.
Seeing as the stock exhaust stops making power after 10k rpm, the bike doesn't pull. So it very slowly creeps up to the redline.

Now seeing as the MK exhaust is a 'race' exhaust and creates much more power a lot higher in the rev range, it makes a fairly big difference. The MK happily revs to 12-13k rpm before running out of power. So pulls much stronger, and quicker to the redline.

yes 0.000034hp more, as proved in the dyno graph. Rolling Eyes

If you actually watched the video you will have seen how well it kept up with the full power RS125's. Yes, of course it has 5hp. Rolling Eyes

I'd say where the power is developed is more important. It's producing a load more torque at the top end with the new exhaust, so whilst sacrificing bottom end and middle range acceleration, it should accelerate and go a fair amount faster when it gets to high rpm.

On a stock bike, where the power is about 5-6hp. 1hp is 20% more power.

So yes, the MK exhaust does make all that much difference, plus what mchaggis said.
