hey, i have recently purcahsed my first bike, second hand of course as i am only a student lol. however one thing is annoying me...it comes with a windshield fitted..."it is a 125cc honda shadow"...i do not like the window but the rest is immaculate...some people tell me it can be removed some people tell me it can't...i really hope it does come of as i had planned to remove it...does any one know if it can come off??

btw i haven't received the bike yet so i can't check for myself lol

The odd ones I've seen haven't had a screen so it must be an aftermarket one....in which case you will be able to just unbolt and remove it with no problem.

My GS came with a screen on it, there was to grips around the forks and 1 on each bar (they are clip ons so there are 2 bar bits Wink ). Simply undo the bolts on each of the clamps and pull away, but if i was you i would keep the screen and all the bolts, you might find you want it for that bike again later, or maybe for bikes later in your career Wink if not, hey, you can always sell it for a bit Thumbs Up

I guess there wil be no problem in removing the windshield. This will depends on your preferences. If like to feel the wind blowing on your face and chest, go ahead. Do it. If not, just let the windshield there and you will have a better wind protection when ridding on the road at higher speeds.
