Posted: 10:13 - 28 Apr 2005 Post subject: My PC [FOR SALE] What's it worth? |
 |
|
It's getting closer to the time for me to head off to New Zealand so it's time to start thinking of selling my PC. I'm looking for some help in asking you all how much do you think this is worth? or if anyone is interested make an offer.
Here's the spec:
P4 2.8Ghz 800FSB HT 1Mb Cache
Deep impact heatsink. 8" Fan and 4" fan on either side. (this thing is huge)
1024 Mb (4 x 256 Mb) Corsair TwinX, DDR400, PC3200C2PT, platinum heatsinks
Asus P4P800-X Socket-478 I865PE ATA - Sound Lan USB2 800FSB SATA
36.7Gb Western Digital Raptor Enterprise (10Krpm,8MB) - SATA HDD
80Gb Maxtor 7200RPM HDD
32Mb Matrox G550 DDR Dual Head GFX Card
Pioneer DVR-109 Black 16x16 Multiformat DVD±RW Dual Layer DVD Writer
M-Audio Audiophile 2496 - 4-in/4-out Audio Card with MIDI and Digital I/O
Xiod (Samsung) 19" TFT Monitor Black/Silver
Mouse & Keyboard
Black Antec Tower Case with 4 8" fans
PSU dual fan (I'll need to check which one it is)
Have I missed anything out?
Not sure about what power supply it is again. I'll need to check. It is a good one though. The 19" TFT Xiod monitor is by far the nicest part. Cost me close to £500 at the time. It's black and silver. The case is a black Antec tower. Really solid good quality case.
The computer is about a year old now. I use this computer for composing music, so any of you Cubase/Logic/Cakewalk users could make good use of this. The soundcard is designed for this sort of thing. It has L/R Phono in and L/R phono out. Great for connecting up your hifi to it. I'm also selling the hifi too if anyone wanted it with the PC. Cambridge Audio Amp and Eltax speakers. Can't remember the models.
While the graphics card isn't exactly the best for the newest games, it is one of the best I've seen for general windows use and graphics packages. Crystal clear desktop images and the Dual monitor support is great especially if you get an additional 19" TFT monitor. You could easily replace the graphics card and get a radeon 9800 pro or similar to make it the ultimate PC.
So what's it worth? I'll post pics tonight. ____________________ Honda NSR125R -> Suzuki GSXR400R GK76a -> Kawasaki ZX636 B1H -> Honda CBR400RR NC29 -> Nothing  |
