Not sure if it's been discussed on here already...

...but wondered if anybody has bought a copy of that IoM TT game (on the ps2) and if it was any good?

Cheers.

if you want a good ps2 biking game get riding spirits 2, quite rare but very good, unfortunatly even though its a great game not enough bikers to make it popular Sad

Coppied from another forum

If you ride bikes or have ever visited the Isle of Man to see the TT, Manx Grand Prix or Southern 100 road races then go and buy this game!

Its a pretty bold statement but this has to be THE motorcycle simulator to own. I'm calling it a simulator and not a game because the level of detail and accuracy in the TT Mountain course and Southern 100 (Billown course) is unreal.

I have raced the Mountain course (on a CBR600) in the Manx Grand Prix (albeit ending up with two broken legs after a crash) and the attention to detail Jester have put into getting things exact is amazing, right down to speed wobbles in the right places and potholes on the entry and exit of corners.

My only criticism is that its a little bit difficult to pick up and play because it is so accurate and you have to be inch perfect with your racing lines braking points and how far you lean off the bike! This is where course knowledge will pay off, you wont need a strategy guide, instead buy a copy of On Bike TT from www.dukevideo.com

TT Superbikes and motogp3/motogp4 are the best bike games on ps2 with gp500 the best on pc.

riding spirits 2 is crap, the sound is crap, the physics are crap (cant even do wheelies) the only thing good about it is the number of bikes as pretty much all manufacturers are in the game.

go for the motogp series if you want a more arcadey game but TT superbikes is great but VERY hard.

TT gets a Thumbs Up from me...got it today, played it for a while. Good physics, nice views and the game modes are fun too.
