Hi

Found this:-

Quote:
The Single Payment Scheme (SPS) replaces the Common Agricultural Policy and now pays farmers for the land they own, not what they produce. The European Directive on agricultural subsidies does not prohibit motor sports on land eligible for SPS. However, the Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) has taken the decision, without consultation, to stop these payments to UK landowners if agricultural land is used, even temporarily, for motor sport.

Please could I ask you to sign this and pass it on, save our sport,

DEFRA are having serious effects on all types of Motorsport, DON'T LET IT HAPPEN!

So time to sign up on https://www.petitiononline.com/som/ .

All the best

Keith

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Nothing to do with Europe, just our government using a European ruling as an excuse to screw us over.

All the best

I suppose so but surely if the european's hadn't started it then we wouldn't be following suit.

Hi

We haven't followed suit at all. Just that the UK government has used a European directive which would have no impact on us as an excuse to go a lot further and dump on us.

All the best

Keith
