Its a lovely bike, i'm more than happy with it, but like with most things, the longer I keep it, the less i'm gonna get for it. It's a 1999 'T' plate Suzuki GSX-R600, done 20k mileage, FSH, taxed etc... not got much idea what its worth tbh. Only thing is, I dont know what I want! Its kinda like a catch 22 situation... I don't want to get rid of the bike, but if i dont do it soon, it's just gonna cost me more! Any advice?

look on ebay and bike trader to see what others are going for. Remember you will probably get more for the bike selling it private than any dealer will give you.

If you're looking for an investment, get an ISA.

If you're looking for fun, own a bike.

Check out the used bike guide, you may be able to get a price range from there, mine's a 97, think it's worth in good condition £2600, so start with that as a guide. If you are really lucky you may be able to pick up £3000 private - or go to your nearest dealer and be cheeky, ask them what the top book price would be for it

I don't see the logic behind px'ing your bike, for something more expensive, that will cost more in depreciation Confused

Ermm, if you don't want to get rid of the bike then the simple solution is to keep it. Razz If you need to sell it and get something cheaper for financial reasons then I wouldn't be looking at part exchange, sell privately and buy something else privately.

Fair points. It was just a random thought going on from what someone said to me this morning.
