I've been riding bikes of various shapes and sizes for about 24 years now and I know I'd get a bollocking within the first 30 seconds if I went on one of these things.

From what Ive seen at bikesafe, when they showed us the video of the IAM rides, speeding is legit - if not encouraged as part of the programme. The IAM instructor at ours wasnt a copper but on the video he was talking through his helmet mike and the bloke in front gunned it off the first roundabout and all he said was 'accellerating very briskly, just have to catch up here', he was backed up by the coppers too. He went on to say 'shouldnt be too much trouble' then later he said he rode a Heyubusa and could turn it in the road at walking pace without a foot down. Thumbs Up

Anyway, sounds like fun lads, see if you can out run him Wink and enjoy it- but I dont know either of you so I can't guess who's first for the bollocking, can I choose the copper as a wildcard?

Wink

I thought the point of these types of courses was to ride normally and then they will help improve your riding not drag you down to test standard?
