Can't fault my suomi, except the wind noise.

Took a couple of weeks to fit properly and when it does its like a glove Thumbs Up

screws need tightening under the pods fairly often though.

I agree with Palmer, my Suomy (mine is a Dark Metal) is the only helmet from hundreds tried that fitted my obviously odd-shaped head nicely! Thumbs Up

Wind noise with the visor down is OK, but riding (even slowly through town) with the visor up it whistles! I also find the visor is quite bad for fogging, despite the helmet having several air vents.

Mine is likely to be replaced this year as I've also noticed that due to regular use the rubber bit at the front near my mouth has come out of its clip thing on one side and despite my best efforts I can't get it to stay back in. Not life-threatening but irritating as I can sometimes see it as I'm riding along.

well i tried on a suomy. they are quite small. but still comfortable.

went for the small side as medium was comfier but felt like when the padding bedded in it would be too loose. which is no good.

I've had 3 suomy helmets and I've talked to some Suomy reps in the USA at the MotoGP race last yeat. I'm currently a L on pretty much any helmet. However, I am an XL with Suomy Spec 1R and Xtreme. Suomy is more oval than round, and I recommend trying one one before you buy. Suomy fits like a Shoei, except that Suomy is lighter and REALLY LOUD...louder than Arai. It is small too, which is great.

I love Suomy helmets they fit good, have great venting system, and the paint/graphics are great. The con's about Suomy:

1) Paint/Graphics chips off.
2) Really loud.
3) Price.
