Hello all....

Riding down the road this morning on an empty stretch of dual-carriageway. My jacket was undone so I sat up as usual and done my jacket up quickly.....with both hands. Now usually the bike stays straight and theres no problem with riding no-handed, I guess you guys do this sometimes too. (?) but today the bars started shaking really badly, scared the crap outa me! Aint happened before, any ideas?

Its just the texture of the road... if the road is choppy then it'll send vibrations up the forks, the bars will just wobble a bit, i wouldn't be worried about it.

I used to do it quite often when i had my nsr for the same reason as you Kris, but cant do it on a SV, soon as you let the power off the engine breaking will slow you down somethin rotten and you lose stability.

Your wheels might of gone out of balance if the road had a alright surface but thats nothin to worry about, easy fixed

Hi

Sounds like either steering head bearings on the way out / out of adjustment or a knackered shock

All the best
