Aprilia RS 125 (1998) Bristol

I am looking at selling my RS125. I have used as it as a commuter but unfortunatly need to sell it and my MK1 Golf Gti to get a sensible, reliable car (for a bit).

I bought the bike off a friend last October and he had it for a year so I know some of the bikes history. We are both 25+ so it hasn't been carelesly thrashed. It is always warmed up before use and ran on the expensive Castrol TTS 2 stroke oil.

The current mileage is just over 15,000 km, it had a top end rebuild at approximatly 11km. It is MOT'd to September, and taxed until next January. The rear tyre has a load of life left in it but the front is starting to get a bit thin.

Whilst the engine has been looked after the fairings have not! There is a crack in the front fairing where the bike was blown over in the wind. For my friends sins he resprayed it black himself and did not do a particulary good job. It did not bother me as a learner as I thought it likely that I may drop it (have not yet).

The bike has been very reliable and has been used throughout the year as a commuter - the only work I have had to do to it was change the speedo drive, whilst my friend had to change a brake light switch.

I am after £1050 for it or may p/x against a car like a BMW 318is/325 or anything else sporty but sensible.
