I am seriously thinking about selling my GSXR600k3 but would like to know what I'd get for it as if it aint enough I'll keep it and sell something else.
It's black and silver, 2003 about 3000 miles, good tyres, recently serviced and I'm the second owner.
It has a Scorpion race pipe as well as the standard exhaust, K&N filter, TRE mod, dark screen and standard and a Harris hanger, other than that it's standard.
It has some damage to the left side, the front nose cone has a small scuff on the edge, the side panel has a few scrapes, the rear pod has a deep scuff about 6 cm long and both rims have very lite scuffs barely worth mentioning but I will anyway other than that it is in very good condition. This damage means it has been registered as a cat c insurance claim, there is no other damage than I have mentioned so judge for your self if that was a fair claim.
It comes with a spare rear pod and side panel, both have scuffs but are good spares, I planned to get the best ones painted up to make the bike a minter but never got around to it.
I may well offer this up for sale in the exchange and mart section of BCF if it's worth enough so come on let me have it!! WHATS IT WORTH?

Cheers Ric for the reply, that sounds a hell of a lot for an x reg cat c.
Any one else got any ideas on a price for it?

Best have a look on Autotrader, millions on there. That'll give you a better idea.

Yeah but not taking in to account the damage and cat c listing, this is a bit tricky to put a price on. Embarassed

With the cat c rating plus the scuffs etc. I'd say ballpark figure of £2300 to £2500. That said, anythings only worth as much as someone's prepared to pay.

I'd stick the original can back on and sell the Scorpion separately to raise extra cash.

HTH Thumbs Up

RiDE Used Bike Guide gives the following values for a 2003 GSX R600 R-K3...

New £6299
Showroom £4125
Trade-In £3450
Pivate £3715

To be fair you're gonna have to determine whether it's worth getting the damages repaired and then attempting to sell it (to improve the chances of gaining a sale) as a damaged bike is really only gonna be worth a minimal amout (in comparison to the above)and you're gonna be subject to a lot of haggling.
