Hi

In very small numbers. Think they only imported them for about 6 months. UK ones had a single disk (and I think they were either black or red, not a metallic colour).

All the best

Keith

Yep, Uk spec one had a single disc while the imports had Variable valve timing (Bandit V) and Twin front discs.

Not all the imports are the variable valve timing model (from memory identifiable by having a red rocker cover).

All the best

my advice would be to run away from them, i spent a lot more on servicing than buying my bandit 400vv that said when it was running it was awsome and a lot more fun than a bandit 600

I'd stay well away. I was glad to see the back of mine! Carb problems made it more tempremental than a woman during that time of month. Sometimes you'd be riding it fine, stop for 5 mins to go the bank or something & if it even looked like it might rain, you wouldn't get the bugger started again. I put a nice fist shaped dent in the fuel tank in a moment of pure rage & frustration.

I had the vvt one and it was fine. I had the carb ultrasonically cleaned and the valve clearances and carbs balanced at it ran very sweetly.

Try to 400greybike site as specialises in 400cc machines and I'm sure they can point you at what to look at.
