As a Porsche owning biker, I can comfortably whip bikes on the twisties in my Boxster S, even taking out the all the supersport 600's on top speed as well. I've had a few Blades and R1's get a surprise on the real twisty sections as well, but as soon as its gets onto the straighter sections, they're off well into the distance.

However drag racing away from lights and straight line accelaration a half decent biker on a 600 sports bike should beat just about any decent car, its really not that difficult given the power\weight ratio's.

To gain maximum fun let them get a few yards ahead of you then when you give it a handful and disappear into the distance - wave as you go past. A few "gee up" motions are always fun as well.

My favourite scalp was a Marcos, the guy really tried hard and must have stayed with me for all of 10 feet.

Ive had two notable racers on the cbr (i say notable, because you cant even tell of novas are trying, they are /that/ slow).

One on a dually with a brand new scooby imretza, top of the range one at that, within a week of getting the cbr. That was reasonably close annoyingly, but i blame that on him caining up behind me when i was barely trying so i ragged it from when he was about level, undertook and then we both nearly crashed so slowed down again to get around this fiesta. Then the second bit i mashed the limiter in second in the split second i looked over at him and away he flew.

However i kept up and really annoyed the fuck out of a 911 on my favourite twisty. And i never left my lane, whereas he was offsiding over blind summited corners ( Middle Finger

cock) and nearly scrubbed many bikers. Hence my chasing. By the end of it i think i was upsetting him because as we all know, people like to think they are by far superior, and when they get reminded they are ultimately in an uneconomic vehicle both in petrol consumption and power to weight, It upsets them. Alot.

so far my funniest drag from the traffic lights was against a Pulsar GTI with 5, 17-18 year old kids yelling out smart ass remarks as we sit a the red lights then as they turn green I crawl off in first as he dumps the clutch and boggs down the engine. As we get up to 50kmph I snapped the throttle open and wheelied past him just enough to be in front at 70 kmph then sit and wait for him to catch up and do it again Laughing

I think the funniest part is they think they have a chance of winning, and it's no fun thrashing the hell out of someone from the very begining of a mini drag because I like to tease em a little first Wink
