Here are some pics from race day. Some are from after my 150mph off. I had to drop the bike after the trottle jammed open.

Looks like the bike came off very well considering...

and at least you were ok enough physically to get back out there, but confidence is a bitch.

Cheers. Badly winded and some aches and pains, right wrist has started swelling, but no broken bones.

Yeah bike ok just as well it was grass, it was a bitch to get started again as it had flooded and the acid had drained out the battery, The doc gave me great pain killers so never really noticed pain until I got up yesterday.

Yes confidence was right down, I failed to qualify, but went out in non-qualifier, then came in after 4 laps, I think it was because it was mechanical fault I just wasn't 100% happy, but I thought it important to go out anyway.

150MPH Rolling Eyes and all you got was some grass stuck on the fairing and rim Rolling Eyes

At 150 the bike should look like it had been nuked.

Depends what speed it was going when it eventually fell over. It obviously didn't hit anything solid.

Shocked Shocked and lock up the rear?

Best you can do is squeeze the clutch. But saying that, at 150mph you dont have much time.. if you have gone to far into the bend already, theres nothing that can be done..

Still though.. that bike came of extremely well.. not even a bent lever Smile

Bloody hell. Glad your alright!

Hey, I just noticed how far down the forks the top clamp is. Is this really where you have it or was this due to the accident?

The pics don't show it very well but the fairing will have to be replaced as it has a lot of splits, and the seat unit needs replaced aswell.
The levers never broke because I dropped the bike on its side then let go, it was short grass thats why the crash bung dug in and slowed the bike down.

If it ever happened again then I would hit the kill switch, but I was just about to turn in to bend and it all happened so quick i just went on to run of area a dropped it. I did pull in clutch and pull front brake but the bike went into stoppie when it came down I thought fuck this just get off.

It was my first race crash so I have learnt.

If you look at this pic under the casing you will see the fairing is split in half and gear selector is bend you can,t see from this angle.

I had to do a similar thing at Cadwell, heading for a tyre wall at Barn Corner. Luckily no damage to m or the bike, got the speed scrubbed in the grass before I put it down.

When is your next race and where? do you think you will be ready for it?

Next race is at St Angelo in Enniskillen on the 25th June, it is new track so it will be everyones first time round it.

I will be ready no probs, Fairing will get done at the weekend.
Gonna do a few trackdays to get my race head back on

Yes the forks are in the right position, I have just dropped the clip-ons underneath and lowered 6mm it gives faster turning..[/quote]
