failed Mot grrrrrrr!

Well took my bike for a Mot Test today and it failed due to.

1: No rear reflector,passed last time n didnt have one
2. Steering isnt lock to lock apperantly due to wires and cables
3: Single seat conversion is loose
4: the main one that concerns me and would like some info on how much its gonna cost to get sorted is, Rear suspension freeplay in bearing and bushing.

How muc hyou reckon its gonna cost for number 4 becoz as soon as i saw rear suspension is shat myself!

Im not that mechanically minded,been told by a few people take it to a non dealer n they'll just sort it and pass it for mot. So it isnt really a major problem then?

They expensive for new bushes? Just dont wanna spend hundreds and hundreds of pounds on a 15 yr old bike that im only gonna have for another 4 months hopefully Laughing

I assume (because of your sig) it is an NSR? (or NS at 15 years old?)

A set of suspension linkage bushings, bolts and spacers is about £80 for my one (from david silver spares) and are tricky to remove. Your best bet is to get some from a breakers off of a bike with low mileage, there are a few different types, the ones from the foxeye models are not interchangeable with the early NSR's.

Sorry i must really change that. Its a 1990 Honda NS125RK.

Pretty damn expensive that! So looks like im gonna be paying 100 quid at least plus labour. Grrrrr teach me for buying a old bike.
