Crash in Portsmouth

Don't know if anyone else read it, but two Motorcyclists died yesterday on the Eastern Road in Portsmouth. A group of 7 were travveling together and apparently one bike tried to overtake a slow moving Megane. The other 5 were ok, but unfortunatly two were pronounced dead at the scene Sad

Hope that it wasn't anyone from here, thoughts go out to thier families! Thumbs Down

Any more of an idea how it happened? Unless they were going way to fast or were unlucky enough to wind up under a lorry I can't see how that would have happened. It's not as if it's a quick road or there's anything that dodgy on it. Confused

sorry if i have offended a few of you here, my intentios were mainly to check that it wasn't anybody from the BCF and also inform the Portsmouth members, as it it a close to home issue. I know i checked that my mates that ride were ok after hearing this! Maybe im just sad and paranoid!

Well if it was you hustler then the thread would be ok but since as far as anybody knows its just 2 random people why does it require a thread, bikers die all the time FACT, we don't need a thread for every single one of them.
