Well, a while back I was posting about oil leaking out of the front of the engine on my kmx 125. The general concensus here was that it was probably the gasket.

So, got a (soon to be) relative to take it away and 'ave a look.

That was about a month ago.

In the end the bike needed new front and rear tyres (front was a definite mot failure apparently),
new rear brake disk (was about to snap),
new chain and sprocket (similarily knackered),
new rear wheel bearings (apparently rear wheel was replaced at some point with a kdx they think, and the bearings weren't put in properly and so where suitably f*cked),
new front brake level (end snapped off).
Plus all fluids flushed as they reckoned it had vegetable oil in it (well, really nasty stuff anyway)

Rode it about 30 miles back home yesterday and had a blast. V happy although now I'm hankering for a bigger bike as this one struggles at over 60.

Perhaps this post should go in the 'for God's sake bring someone who knows their bald tyre from their elbow when buying a bike' forum...

Still got some leakage from the gasket, nothing they can do they say and got everything done for a super price.

Will probably be PXing it in a couple o months.

Anyone wanna buy a pretty much as new kmx?
Wink
