Just kidding, the bike is absolutely fantastic, goes like shit and is very easy to control compared to vibrating 125s with no go Thumbs Up

Passed with 3 minors: Too slow on the emergency stop, not cancelling an indicator after gunning it past a learner and trying to get my knee down.

Did I say how good the GSXR was? Or how chuffed I am?

I too was about to slate you Middle Finger Although i dont have a Gixxer, i definately wouldnt moan about it if i did Razz

Good lad passing your test Thumbs Up Just take it easy for a month or two, its the most dangerous period of your biking career IMO.

My morning commute is literally 2 minutes on a bike from my gate - the college I work at is at most a mile away..

Took me half an hour to get there this morning Very Happy

2 miles to work, although for some reason, when the sun is shining it seems to take me 30 minutes or more to get there! No idea why Wink Very Happy

Yeah I was happy traffic light racing this morning. It makes a surprisingly good commuter, fairly nimble and with a lot of low down useable grunt.

Last night everyone wanted to race me! Coming from the city centre of Glasgow after work, chavs, was terribly good fun old chaps!

The only thing I don't like about commuting on mine is that as soon as you stop because of traffic lights or queues, it starts to overheat and the fan cuts in. Sad

However there are few things that can keep up with it at the lights! Cool

I've had my licence for 2 years and got my GSX-R600 2 months back and I'm so not anywhere near bored!

I noticed that the first time today, was pottering through a 2mile tailback on the M8 (leading to the kingston bridge naturally) at around 30mph and it was sitting around 80 degrees. Once I got into city gridlock it was 105 degrees and rising. What temperature does the fan cut in at? Should you be able to hear it?

Mine cuts in at 108 degrees, you can hear it and feel the draught!
