Someone didn't know what a cager was in another thread, and it reminded me of the trouble I had trying to find out what all this kind of stuff meant. So, here goes...

Cage - a car, basically a metal cage.

Cager - inhabitants of said metal cage. They're often very jealous of people on bikes pissing off into the distance while they're stuck in traffic and tend to be in bad moods. They're blind too.

Skidlid/ Lid - crash helmet.

Lowside - when leant over, the tyres lose traction and slide away from under you, you ending up on the low side of the bike. Avoid braking on gravel, diesel and mud at all costs to help avoid lowsides.

Highside - putting too much power through the rear tyre when leant over spins it up. When the tyre grips suddenly, the bike is snapped upright and the rider spat off into the scenery, generally off the high side of the bike (the side which was on top when leant over). The bike carries on turning cartwheels and barrel rolls and resorts back to its components.

Bin - see lowside.

Bonedome - See skid lid.

Loop - doing a wheelie too hard and going over the back of the bike. The bike might even do a loop if you try hard enough, but it'll land on you.

Thumper - a single cylinder bike. Mostly small capacity or 650's.

Plastic maggot - the Honda CX500.

Now I've done the easy ones, anyone else care to add some more? Smile
