I went to Harrogate this weekend to pick up my CG125 - great! Then I drove it back to Oxford - should have been 220 miles but as I kept getting lost, took me 300! Gah!

I'll post pictures as soon as I find the memory card reader for my camera, but am generally pleased. It seems pretty reliable.

Heh, not sure I really want to admit how long it took Embarassed

But.....I set off at about 1pm, arrived back in Oxford at 1.30am. Shocked

Although I did keep getting lost, got stuck in a few traffic jams and had loads and loads of breaks. Also it was raining for a lot of the journey, and once it got dark I slowed right down. But still, a long time!

Yes well, fun. Hmm.

Bits of it were fun. Bit's weren't fun! It was a long, long way to go Smile

I did see loads of other bikes and not ONE nodded at me or anything! Frankly I wasn't very impressed, if bikers are snobbish about people on small bikes or with L-plates, I'll go get in my 1.3 litre engined car and tootle around running over people on their 'tiny' litre-engined bikes.

No! Surely my 1.3 litre car with its massive top speed of 115 mph and 0-60 time of 13 seconds can beat any litre bike off the mark!

(PS: JOKE!!!)

ya double posted again Razz

and some bikers can be snobby. they are normally fairweather sportsbike riders (the ones that ride like looneys and get killed alot)

ya should get some commuters nod back each day tho. just be proactive and nod first.

Nobody used to nod at me on my CG125 until I got my Hyosung Comet GT125... still a 125, still L-plates... just it looks like a 600 so i think everybody gets a bit confused :-p. definitely noticed the heads turning though since I got it!! Great bike.
