After reading the thread on attempted theft a little looking via google found thatcham.org.

I thought the list of approved products may help someone choosing a chain/lock. I've done a quick cut and paste of the list for motorcycle locks and chains and posted it here. Sorry for the large size (doc to pdf not that efficient )
