Yup I can see them now, and I must say its a nice looking CG. Not bad at all. So don't go putting it down, or let other people diss it ok mate. Its a bike, don't let anything become you and it. Smile

At the end of the day, your learning, and you don't want to be spending 1000's on a 125, that may be crashed etc. Better off getting a cheap and reliable bike like a CG, learning on that, then selling and getting a larger bike when pass tests etc.

Have fun mate and drive carefully. Thumbs Up

I had a cg as my first bike, paid £350 for it, it did its intended job well, if and hopefully you won't but if you ever drop it and the footpeg bends check under the engine. Hopefully they have changed how the foot pegs mount but if not the bar under the engine bends and cracks the sump! Rolling Eyes

Have fun on it, I rode mine to wales and everything! Very Happy

Pretty muuch the same i had

anyone who thinks they are crap Middle Finger

There are far worst bikes to start off, clean it up and you'll easyly get the same or more when you sell it off!

In fact i'm doing one up in my garrage, not quite as good condition though Sad

Yeah, my mates all thought I was going to get another micro-scooter like my last one, and as none of them are bikers they all think this is a huge bike Laughing

But on this site, all the people who've passed their test have massive bikes, and the ones who haven't yet all have meaty 2-stroke Cagiva's or similar in their avatar! Neutral

But got to start somewhere, I guess. Thumbs Up

And I should say; this bike is the one I asked whether to buy in this post:

https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=47213&highlight=

which I probably wouldn't have had the guts to go for it without everyone here telling me to! So thanks to everyone on this site, without you I would still be bikeless!! Cool

Good bike, paid a good price too!

It'll still be quick-ish, good enough to win a fair few traffic light grand prix's.

Have fun on it, learn on it, trying to crash it, pass your test on it, sell it.

No design change on that. You'd have to land pretty hard for it to be a problem I'd have thought. The same engine footpeg arrangement on mine has done a marvelous job as 'crashbars'. It's part of the reason they're so good for binning imo. The bike skids along on the brake/ clutch lever and the footpeg. Nothing else touches apart from the mirror.

That must have been pretty damned unlucky! Shocked

Mine's been binned several times at 15-20 and once at 25-30. No damage whatsoever, just a bit ground away at the end.

Ho ho, why would the police use CG125's? So they can catch 50cc ped-boys but everyone else can outrun them?? Smile

What rubbish! Laughing

You've got three bikes and you're learning Razz

Besides, If i'd have followed the advice to get a cheap 125, I'd still be riding a cheap 125 that I hated, rather than a more expensive 125 that I still love riding after 15 months (where did that "get bored of it in a month or two" crap come from anyway?). Yeah it's more expensive to fix if you crash, but ducatis are expensive to repair too, so maybe i should get a GPZ instead of a 748 for my dream bike? Rolling Eyes ... Who wants to ride around on a cheap bike that they don't like thinking "it's okay, my NEXT bike will be one I actually like owning" ?

Nice CG dude, looks to be in good nick, at a good price too Smile.
