How long you been riding?

I was just wondering how long people on here have been riding.

Im 36 and been riding the road since 16 so thats = 20 years road riding?
and about 2 years before that on my own field bike....
and since I was about 6 on my elder brothers bikes = 10 years off road

Total 30 years

Now I feel old

A good 10 years, but only the last 2 and a bit have been on the roads, obviously.

Got my CBT in december, passed my test last monday.

Honda CB125 for 5 months.

GSX-R 600 for 10 days. Well 5 really, I've already broken it

Edit - I'm nearly 20.

Legally and with 'L' plates 1977........ f@*K am I old!!! 3 years before that on the fields with a Honda 50 (like my grandads that he used to go the allotment on). However when I was between 7 and 11 yrs my brother used to pick me up from school on various British Iron before he pissed off down to the Ace to meet his mates and before that I was riding with my Mum and Dad in their Beezer and twin seat sidecar from the age of 10 months. so that makes 44 yrs straddling two wheels one way or another.

I started motocross when i was about 12. Just turned 18 now so about 6 years. 4 offroad, 2 on.

First time i rode on the road was in jan this year on my CBT, learn't by DAS and passed so been riding for the huge amount of 4 months on the road.

Hmm Im such the novice. Been ridin for 3 days and Im bloody 31 today . Some parts of me wish I started earlier , so I could be carvin it up right about now. Other parts are sayin well at least Im doin it now and enjoying the challenge of doin something new.
Both have their upsides I guess.
