Ok I am trying to work out if that means, "No you moron, of course you tell them if you have a performance exhaust on." Or if it means, "Don't be silly you moron, don't tell them if you have a performance exhaust on your bike."

Expand!? Razz

You're probably looking at £4-500, depending on whether it's garaged or not.

£4-500? Are you serious? Best quote I have had so far has been £1020 with H&R. Maybe you didn't see my details correctly. Or maybe I missed something out. Oh yea, I forgot to say I have three points SP30 for speeding. I am 18, just passed, will have 1 years no claims bonus on June 14th (so starting insurance from then) and best quote I have had is £1020. I didn't mention my little EVO Blue Flame either Razz

Online quotes are very incorrect compared to what you can get.

I was getting quoted £1000 TPO online for a GSXR 600.

Phone them up and get them to beat each other - you will be very surprised to see how easy it is to half your premium when your young. People tend to rip the arse out of us weans Wink

I haven't been doing it online. I have been ringing up. Maybe my 3 points makes all that much difference. Oh just remembered I have also had a non-fault accident that was in 2003. Think that made a difference too...my bad Razz

*edit* Method who did you ring? *edit*

OK, you'll get lower premiums if you don't tell them.

You'll also likely partly or wholly void your insurance if you don't tell them and they find out, which they probably will if you ever crash and make a claim. Personally I wouldn't risk it, but you might get away with claiming you "didn't know" it had been derestricted (and don't have receipts for the new exhaust lying around your house!!!).
