My dad has those LED things you put on the tyre valves. Tyre Lites i think they are called. Fuck knows why he has them anyway we can't get them off. The rubber valve is starting to split from trying with mole grips. What do we do?

Oops, no idea tbh, but they do tend to rip the valve out at speed.

Well you will probably have to take the tyres off to get a new valve in but maybe not!

Get it to somewhere like a garage and then try to pull them off, so at least you can get new valves put on them without having to travel with a flat tyre. I tried using two lots of locking pliers, one on the valve and one on the tirefly. I think it is very unlikely that they will come off without taking the valves with them. Even with tons of copper grease under them they still get stuck as the threads get easily crossed if they get knocked or anything like that. Total waste of money, any who has them fitted should take them off while they still can.

Good luck.

Dave
