From an e-mail I had today...

Last year you kindly offered your support for the KillSpills anti diesel
spill campaign by signing one of our petitions and/or joining the first
rally itself.

On the day, the KillSpills Team handed in a 10,146 signature petition,
detailed 22 page report and 7 point Action Plan to the Prime Minister at
Number 10 Downing Street.

The Rally was the culmination of a years work, but the campaigning has not
stopped there. The BMF have come on board as sponsors but are also backing
it with logistical and lobbying expertise. The Team have been busy
reinforcing the diesel spill message, Devon County Council have continued
their diesel spill campaign and new campaigns have been arranged by
Northamptonshire Police and Cornwall County Council, all on the back of the
KillSpills Campaign.

We would now like you to take part in the Second Annual KillSpills Rally
which on the 10th September 2005, again from the Ace Café to the Palace of
Westminster. The roads will again be closed by the Metropolitan Police to
allow you an uninterrupted ride to Westminster. A brief itinerary of the day
is outlined below:

11.00 Rally riders officially arrive
12.00 KillSpills Award Presentation and address to rally riders &
Police briefing to Rally Riders and marshals
12.25 to 13.00 Rally lines up outside Ace Cafe London
13.00 Rally sets off for Westminster
13.40 to 14.10 Rally arrives at Westminster
15.00 Rally heads back to Ace Cafe London
16.00 to Late Free Post Rally Party at the Ace Cafe London

This year the ride will also be met by several MPs
Visit www.killspills.org.uk to find the latest campaign information and be
part of an even bigger rally this year. Also KillSpills T Shirts are
available for purchase at https://www.bmfshop.net with proceeds going to the
BMF Foundation.

Finally I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your
support, you see, without YOU supporting us our campaign would be dead in
the water.

I'm definitely up for it. I've never been to the Ace Cafe though...maybe a BCF ride up from Box Hill could be good?
