from an IAM list....

Quote:
Guys and Girls
Just to let you know, there are a couple of guys on a Black CB500 S
with the plate number LN51 BEY stealing bikes from petrol forecourts at the moment, they took mine from the ESSO/Tesco station in Alexandra avenue, Rayners Lane on Monday night, and have been reportedly seen at other stations in the area.

They basically follow you in, then when you go in to pay, use a slide-hammer on your ignition and drive off. Thanks
to a kind motorist who saw all, I was able to give chase and re-claim my bike, though not without taking a couple of blows with a claw hammer for my trouble, and the bike is now worse off too.

The bike they are using is, of course, stolen, but they don't appear to be worried in using it.

Be Safe

edited to save confusion.. wasn't MY bike.. I got this from an IAM list.
