Has anyone found any major difference when the restrictions in 2nd and 3rd gears are removed? I'll be undertaking this the weekend when I have some shrinkwrap for the bare wire ends, but I was just wondering if it makes any significant difference.

the sv is restricted Shocked

are you talking about the tre stuff which they have for better traction control

Yeah TRE is to make the bike's power more managable rather than to make you go slower.

Well according to an article on sv650.org Suzuki retarted the timing in second and third to reduce the power a little to pass a drive-by noise test. I haven't heard about it affecting traction control as there is no restriction in 1st or 4th-6th.
