Laughing

I heard today that last night some biker managed to lose control of his bike on festival park (boi racer area), he mounted the pavement and hit someones garden fence, the bike then went one way and he flew through their front window! Laughing

Can you imagine sitting watching tv and a bike comes crashing through your double glazed windows Laughing

A Motorcyclist was thrown through the window of a house after his bike left the road and smashed through a fence. The man was taken to hospital suffering serious chest injuries.

He was travelling through Festival Park, Etruria, at about 9.55pm yesterday when, for an unknown reason, his motorcycle came off the road.

He went through the fence of a house on Pebble Mill Street before he was thrown off his vehicle and through a window at the property.

The man, from the Norton area, is being treated in hospital where his condition is described as poorly.

Police say it is not yet clear what caused the accident and are appealing for witnesses.

They particularly want to hear from people who were near the Odeon cinema or the ten-pin-bowling outlet which are next to the property.

I still think its funny

Thats good, but https://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/hampshire/4493713.stm is better, managing to lose control on the A30 and skid off the road, go up the kerb, over a hedge, take off somehow and ending up smashing through the upstairs of a house in their flight path. Neutral

How the fuck do you manage to do that? Shocked Laughing

Seems like people crashing into houses is quite common. Must have hit a f*cking big jump to land in the upstairs window though!

Not the place to put this really, but its on a similar note to the thread so figured i would post it..

Heres a video of a jeep driving though a house while been chased by police.

That rocked!

A friend of mine just randomly rode into a wall last week, apparently he blacked out or something. Fractured wrist etc.

But my favourite part was the newspaper headline about it "Motorcyclist collided with building".

Hitting a kerb at speed will make the car fly pretty well, though I don't think you'd be able to get to the first floor with the kerb alone.

My understanding is that it was the hedge that acted as a make shift ramp. Surprised

Things like that seem to happen quite often over here. I've even seen the back 1/3 of a car poking out of the roof of a house whilst out jogging 10 or so years back. It's amazing in the 20 or so accidents that I can remember of this nature, that nobody, either in the car, or the house has been injured.

I remember a story of a car ploughing straight into the bedroom of this old guy. Luckily he'd got up to go to the toilet at the time Shocked . I saw the pic of his bedroom... The car basically drove through the wall and car + bed exited via the other wall.... Houses over here are mainly made of wood, so they don't slow cars down much.

That pic of the car (or bike, or whatever it was) going through the 2nd floor is pretty impressive.
