where can you buy coil lead from? Doubt halfords are gonna sell it are they? I assume it's sold by the foot, I dunno if it's a bad coil lead I got or a bad coil.

Hi

My local bike shop sells the stuff off a reel. Suspect yours will. Reel looks like it has been there some time!

All the best

Keith

I had a quick look in mine today and they don't do it Sad Sad not tried halfords yet but it's not likely unless you can use car coil leads on a bike.

Hi

Doubt Halfords would do it, but ask around the longer standing bike shops. And almost certainly be something hidden in a box somewhere and not on display.

All the best

I've looked for coil leads before, they only sell them with the plugs crimped and sealed on. The plugs are far too big for a bike.

Also you never get four identical length leads, they usually only have three left.

I'm sure halfrauds used to do the leads that you made up yourself. The name escapes me now though.

They were expensive thought.

Try Vehicle Wiring Products on 0115 9305454. They're in Derbyshire but do mail order.

Cheers,

Byrnie.

Halfords are way too expensive, they charge £13 for ISO plugs whereas they're £3 anywhere else.

It's usually called HT lead you're looking for and should be able to get it from a carspares place, place I used to work sold it off the reel.
