Just bought a XL125s.

1983, 12000 miles, VERY good conditon.

Im respraying the rear mudguard thing because the paint is flaking off. Will also probably be getting the tank powder coated if I can be bothered.

But tomorrow I wont be doing ANYTHING to the bike apart from Riding it! Cool

LOVE IT! Mr. Green

So Does Dam_buster. He was coressing the handlebars!

Nah, Over the last few weeks my mate has been letting me ride his GS125. I learnt a way to cock my foot outwards and pull the gear selector arm upwards.

Also the gears are SOOOOO smoooth on my bike. Its been in a box for the last 10 years and was only rebuilt from scratch last month by the old guy I bought it off.

and for a 125 4 Stroke. It wheelies alright! Shocked

I let the clutch out a bit quick at the lights and nearly flipped the thing!

Ive been out since 9am and ive covered nearly 60 miles on the bike. Its SO much better than a moped. Ok, not even nearlty as fast as my old speedfight but still fast enough.

I will be at Ace cafe on it on the 6th June along with 2 other 125s. So should be cool if anybody is going.

I had an XL125rf which put up with me learning gears on and still ran fine! (except from when you revved it too high the vibration turned the choke on + off - soon sorted by half a dozen cable ties Razz) Fell of it once when i was getting too cocky because i yanked the front brake going into a corner and watched the bike go into the bushes Embarassed

Anyway good bike have fun Thumbs Up
