I just came across this: https://www.1tail.com/2005_GSXR_frame/ - sorry if someone's already put this up, but it looks pretty serious. Whoever quality checks the frame welds needs shooting!! Shocked

A few pictures of a TL1000S frame. That's on 97-98 bikes, there was no recall on it but if your frame had or has problems Suzuki will sort it out.

i dont think it was limited to the 97 bikes but they had the most probs because it was such a new design, it was mostly due to the rotary damper.

suzuki always seem to produce great but flawed bikes, i find it gives them charactor.

I reckon it would be a good idea for the old skool frame manufacturers to start producing their super cool frames - Harris or Spondon Gixxer thou anybody? Back in the olde days "Japs were pretty good at putting cracking engines into shit frames".
