Got in before from a blast, and it was throwing it down, so i thought, why put the cover on because you shouldnt put a dry cover on top of a wet bike should you? so ive just left my bike with no cover in the rain.

is this a bad thing to do???

I cover my bike no matter what, it's a habit I've picked up, doesn't really cause any problems.

Depends if it's a breatheable cover or not.

Also depends how long you're gonna leave it - I used to do it quite often but the bike was in daily use so would dry out the next day if it didn't dry under the cover (which it usually did). Cover it and ignore it for 6 months is probably a bad idea. Smile

lol sorry mate it was late and it sounded funny at the time Rolling Eyes

as for me i always cover my bike as i more or less use it everyday.. if it's been raining i'll dry it off before i put the cover on but there's no point doing that if it's still pouring down.

I don't know whether you'd be better leaving it off or on if it's still pouring down though?!

My bikes live outside all the time with no covers on them.

Henry's a more outdoor person anyway, he enjoys the rain, makes him look cleaner

Don't like getting mine wet. Bit of a wimp in the rainy weather stakes. She likes to be snug and dry in the garage
