right , i keep my bike in my back garden i have 6 ft fences surrounding my garden
also i have cornered my bike in just behind my back door and built a fence around it , so thats 2 fences
then there is a washing line that goes over my bike and i have tarpaulian over the washing line so it just looks like blue shit hung over it and u cant tell the bike is there
i have a Yanchor ground anchor
a square link chain with a theft proof yale padlock
a sterling square link chain threw my frame and wheel with a sterling padlock cased in 5ml steel
then grenade discl ock
and my steering lock
i think its fairly safe as they wud have to knock down to fences to get it out and even if they did that id wake up
also the tarpaulian is very noisey

what do you all think?

I think if someone has decided they want it (for example they have already sold it and are stealing to order having seen you wheel it in there) they would jump into your back garden on a windy and rainy night, cut through your chains with a handheld hydraulic cutter then four of them would lift the bike over your fences with two scaffolding poles, stick it in the back of a van and vanish into the night. Five minutes tops. Evil or Very Mad

I also think you have taken every reasonable precaution to deter a casual thief with the possible exception of CCTV and an alarm Thumbs Up

Probably pretty safe but must take you 2 hours to actually get all the locks of it Laughing

Do you ride it to work?? By the time you get the locks off the bike, there will be no point going to work as it'll be home time Laughing

if you want to hear real paranoid my bike is parked in a brick garage which has buildings on 3 sides so they would need to go through 2 walls to get to it. i have an alarm & 2 chains plus the metal door is padlocked and has a car parked in front of it, i live in a quiet street with a dog that goes mental if there is any noise and i often remove key parts of the bike because i dont ride it that often.

short of employing a security guard i recon im as far as you can get and pretty theft proof at the moment, god damn government baning landmines Twisted Evil
