Hi
Im writing this to reply about my last post asking about our site and if its a good idea.

Me and Vampiric Angel are happy with the replies we got its just what we needed, we apologise for any inconveniences that the site may have. Although the website Isnt absolutely amazing and isnt a .com or .co.uk we are so into the project. Eventually we will get another site (you've got to start from somewhere) an the site we will get will be great.

thank you all for your posts, if you haven't been on the website before it is www.l337customs.co.nr please post anything good or bad about the website, but please don't doubt us, we are putting our heart and soul into this project to make it run. Thank you.

Sorry, so you're promoting a site on customising bikes... Yet theres actually no content. And neither of you ride. Or have ANY customising content on the site. Brick Wall

Surely even a few web rips, even on just how to change screens, fit new indi's etc etc would be better then nought. Also favourite bike's.... Perhaps instead of that put in something more about past biking experience

But as ive said, as there appears to be no content/sales pitch or things to actually comment on. Id leave promotion until later Wink

Agreed. Any monkey with Frontpage can knock up a reasonable webpage. The 'project' is to customise bikes of some description, isn't it? I fail to see how getting a better website is really part of the 'project'.

This is an idea we both share so why can't we try? we have all the help we need and we can ride. but like i said thank you for your opinion but please don't doubt us, we have to start somewhere and this is where we want to start, were buying our own bike first to start on, Understanding the bike, And we wont work on other biker's bikes untill we feel confident and know we can.
so please don't doubt us but thanks again for your reply.

We arent doubting you... Laughing we are just saying its an absolutely pointless website atm... and we cant see why the hell you are publicising it so much and said project... Even if you just had a pic of a tatty cg 125 that was 'going' to be done up, that would at least be a start. But its completely devoid of anything.

I know nothing about web development but I know that using Geocities as a hosting tool isn't going to do you any favours, that Yahoo advert thing got on my nerves as soon as I visited the site.

Also, if you want to be taken seriously at least make sure all spelling and punctuation are correct.

Also WHY OH WHY have you put "look in our photos for project development". I click "Photos" and I get a "we haven't started a project yet". That's almost as useful as a "Website in construction" tag.

Hardly l33t customs when you are my age and in Sixth Form cause I know for a fact you haven't got the time or the money to be l33t. Sorry, but you need take another look at what you are aiming at.

The best thing to do is forget all this project crap until your capable, then start advertising and asking for opinions.

"When your ready"

Then it will be time to move up the ladder of success.

The worst thing to do is to rush something. Should make the website at the end of your courses. Then you can add stuff that useful to look at.

Well theres my opinion Cool

I know a little trick to stop the banner appearing, unless yahoo have changed thier coding in the last year or so Wink i made a few websites removed all the adverts looked quite proffesional. also when you run out of space, just create another account and link them Wink
