Well, here's the story, i think i may have been caught speeding Sad.
I was pootling down my local by-pass at around 80-85 on my NSR (still on L's) Where theres a nice sweeping right hander. On the other side i see a yellow jacket, then a gun, oh shit, "BRAKES". Next thing i see is him get into his car and the lights come on as he races to the start of the bypass, to come back my way. I'm hoping to God he didn't see my plate.
From where i was, the road goes downhill slightly, with a turning that goes into some villages, or you can wrap around back the other way down the bypass. So i pulled back the throttle and headed for the next off. I didn't see the copper again as i went into the vilages and took the long way home, but warned a few bikers to slow down who were heading to the bypass. You guys reckon i might have gotten away with it?
Also if caught at that speed could it not invalidate my insurance etc? Because the bike is meant to be restricted?

Sorry for the long post, but oh dear....

it wont invalidate your insurance unless the power output of the bike is proven to be more than 14.6 bhp (learner legal)

and as for the speeding, you wont know (if you dont recieve a letter within the nest 2 weeks then your home free)

If it was a single copper, I doubt he would of got your plate as he would of been more concerned in catching you.
However, the new cop cars have cameras mounted on the dashboard facing out the front window.

Hope its not a new police car! Thumbs Up

I suspect you will be OK because hand held radar guns do not record the vehicles identity. From your description there was only one copper. I am pretty certain he would have had to stop you there and then.

Can you spell corroboration? because he doesn't have any Wink

corroborate:- To strengthen or support with other evidence; make more certain.

The bike does exceed that power output, but i'm hoping if i get caught they won't go down that road...
