Right, Iv looked all over the net and I cant find this out anywhere.

There was a mobile speed cameras unit in a 40 zone i think i was doing about 43 maybe 47 stops on my bike. Some people say mobile speed cameras can get you on a bike and other people say they cant.

I saw there was a guy in the back working the camera but non in the front.

Im pretty sure im fine but i would like to know if anyone else has been done by a front on mobile speed camera?

Most of the time they will pull you over a little further up the road and give you chance to explain yourself (wife giving birth, girlfirend ill, testing capabilities of bike etc.... Very Happy )

You are probably ok as, if they caught you, they also probably won't prosecute because you weren't doing masses over the limit.

You can be caught on a bike from behind but the operator of the camera has to be quite skilled to train it on you for long enough to get a good reading.

If you weren't stopped at the site, you may be OK. Unfortunately , they can get a bike, all it takes is for the operator to spin round and write your plate down, or you may be lucky and find the van was an ANPR van (just checks number plates against the PNC database).

In which case that means you've got 14 days to wait to see if you'll get a Notice of Intended Prosecution (NiP) through the post. If it's any help though, I drove my car past one of Sussex police's mobile speed vans doing approx. 50mph in a 30mph and I haven't heard anything from it.
