Hi,

Just got a Kawasaki ER5 and the front tyre is in need of a
change.

I live in West Yorkshire, so Bradford/Leeds/Huddersfield/Halifax is fine.

The manual recommends
"Front 110/70-17 54 H
Dunlop GT401FG
Bridgestone Battlax BT-35F"

Should I buy the same manufacturer front and back?

I only need to change the front though, the back is fine.

Thanks everyone.

Mr. Green

I use BT45's front and back on my ER-5, they hold well.

I would reccomend changing both.

I use ATS normally as they give great service (and I get a discount as my dad knows the right people)

Nah, the rear won't need changing on his bike, its got loads of life left Thumbs Up

Just the front. I THINK it's a bt-020 on the back or something similar. Everyone seems to suggest getting a bt45 for the front and thats what I would replace the front dunlop with. Smile

Busters Accesories have the BT45 for £51.26 in the size you want (https://www.busters-accessories.co.uk/products.asp?id=183). Most garages will fit a tyre to a loose wheel for a couple of quid, so you could save smoe cash.
