PostPosted: 10:30 - 15 May 2005    Post subject: Regular Squires Runs Reply with quote

I'm starting this thread to see if theres any interest.

Detail as follows-
It's a ride out regular to Squires milk bar at Sherburn, it's on the B1222 and is probally the Norths biggest biker meet.

We usually ride out Wednesdays and Sundays and even some other days.

Normally we take country twisty roads.

Most riders in the group are from Rotherham/Sheffield area.
Riders and bikes vary all are welcome, though most are sports bikes.

Anyone interested just post here, it's possible to meet up with riders in other places so all inquireys welcome.

Thanks
Neal

Lol, typical asshole, riders go out to ride and make the most of their bikes, not sit around squires babbling bullshit, hence why no one went

More like, No one from this so called bikers chat forum went, the regulars I ride with did!

Ive come to realise most the people on this board sit in front of there computers trying to talk themselfs being bikers. What a set of cnuts Twisted Evil

And your Bugsy really dont seem to get it, let me explain...
Its not about being at Squires. Its about meeting up and going for a ride out. Stopping and having a coffe at a place just give you a target to point your bike in the direction of.

Tut, kids Rolling Eyes

Yes, because we all live in the North. Rolling Eyes Obviously we must be cunts because we're not going to ride for hundreds of miles each way for a rideout.

Anyway...
When at home, Rotherham's only 15-20 miles away, so once I've got my DAS done and a decent bike I'll probably pop along to have a look. Thumbs Up

Haha you have no idea. Just because we don't want (or couldn't make) a ride out with your "buddies" Laughing

Probably 8 hours I've been out riding this weekend, on my own. I don't know how many miles, but they weren't motorway miles, cos that's not what I call fun. Rolling Eyes

Sound like you have ZX12r superiority syndrome. Everyone else is nothing compared to your greatness, because you have such a great bike.

Anyway 1 or 2 days is hardly enough notice to get people to come out. Ever thought people had plans already, or were busy, or didn't even see your late post? Idiot.

The people who just talk about being bikers know who the are.
From what I can gather theres only a few bikers on the board and they know who they are too.

Sorry I did not see you Dodsi, I did not spend much time at squires, the weather was too good to miss. Respect for the RS125 rider Keiron. I never bothered with a bigger bike until I was well into my 20's, I used to spend hours stripping the engine, grinding away at the ports ect, I had 5 barrels for my RG125 all in different states of tune, a mate on a cbr600 once clocked me on that thing at 115mph (down hill) they was great fun days and I was satisfied with the 125 because unto 90mph not a lot could touch it in the twistys.

Claud dude, I dont really care if anyone from this board come out to ride, I really do know lots of people to ride out with, if I want. You may understand riding alone, like you did this weekend gives you more freedom, I personally can get places a lot quicker if on my own.
The ZX12 superiority syndrome! I agree yes, there is a "click" of zx12 riders who know how good the zx12 is but, the bike does not ride intself, put one of these bikes in the wrong hands and that person would end up dead, it can be very frustrating riding the 12r, there is not a lot of places you can open the thing up.
Thing is I consider my self a seasoned rider, Ive been riding since I can remember, Ive raced MX, Ive done stunt shows at Sheffield Streetfighters show and at York dragstrip, Ive never not had my own bike since I was 15, can you say the same? I'm not trying to big myself up here, you asked and questioned my abilitys, Im just replying....

I have this to say, lets not talk the talk, lets go out and play Laughing

Oh, this thread has been here quite a while not just 1 or 2 days let not get silly....

Quite frankly I wouldn't wanna be seen within 300 miles of a ZX12 with Neons, hence my living situation in the corner of South West England. Wink
