well for summer im going to want something to do,
now i was thinking of buying a non-runner *straight frame* and stripping it to frame and bits and bolts, and make a project out of it, make it a runner, or if it runs already just tidy it up and sell it on,
i would prefer to get a non-runner, as when i strip it down i "should learn a lot more on the bike" even be a bonus if i can get it running
now the question here is what sort of bike should i go for? ?
2 stroke or 4stroke?
i was looking at a kawasaki kmx 125 , that came with the whole engine in a box in parts, with loom and cdi and bits ,
just need advice as this will be the first time i will restore *attempt to restore* a bike.
any help greatly appreciated.
prob doesnt make sense. but im not feeling to well atm

2-strokes are easier, 4-strokes will teach you more.
Older Hondas (eg, superdream, CB125 etc) are cheap and easy to get parts for.
Something with an overhead cam 4-stroke engine will be most relevant for working on modern bikes. A 2-stroke can often be a 'quick fix' but watch out for anything with a plated barrel as if this is worn, it costs a fortune to get it replated. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink.
