Need an intercom but which???

i want an intercom for me and my girlfriend so i can chat to her about whats for tea etc while riding.

now i think most will recommend autocom but to me - what a hassle - you need tons of gubbins for it to work and its bloody expensive.

i am talking about little two way radios like you get when on your cbt etc with the little earpieces

any suggestions for a cheap setup

Maplins do a cheap setup, either two small radios for about 50 quid then two earpieces with a button for about a tenner each.

Theres also a chat system in there, Maplins is quite cheap though could be worth popping in.

Or just get a radio for yourself to block her out? do you really want to hear her moan about how fast you drive lol?
