I found Virgin a good insurance company this year for cheap quotes!

Hi

Charlotte has just had a good session ringing round. Best quote she had was from Ebike (online only), which was £117 fully comp on a GPZ500S.

All the best

Keith

Im with Ebike - pay as you go insurance - excellent Thumbs Up (As in its not a loan your paying off I can cancel anytime). 8 month bonus accelerator (1 years NCB for 8 months worth of policy Wink ) and it was competitively priced Thumbs Up

I get mine through CIA. Just received the renewal of £295. So I phone up and query it. "Oh, err that's a mistake it's only £114" That's more like it me says, you can have my money again.

Moral is... always, always check and query the renewal price.

I looked at 'bonus accelerator' schemes with car insurance. The general consensus is that if you stay with the same firm it's fine, but if you take your 1 years NCB (Bonus accelerated) to another, it's not recognised. Prime example was moving from Elephant to another.

Whilst we are on the subject...

are there any companies that would give me a days worth of insurance on a motorcycle?

If it is insured elsewhere, the policy holder will be able to add you onto his policy. Did this on a 3.0 litre car once. Cost £10.

best quote so far for me is £1077 tpo for nsr125r
from bennets,

H&R were previously the best, but that was for an nc29 before an accident a few weeks back, that was £1500 tpft at 17 just having passed my test, restricting it with 2claims.

ho hum.
