Hi,

Sorry to be a bother but a few of these have caught my eye and seem to be coming up quite cheap. Thought it may make a useful run around in case the RD plays up (I'd have to take my test obviously though). Its a Honda CB350 S-G. Anybody have info on them or even better, owned one?

Thanks

Honda CB350S-G

I owned one when i was 17..... used it as my to and from work bike... never let me down always started on the button only thing that ever went wrong was it blew a indicator bulb.... wasnt the fastest of bikes but it pulled 95 with me on it (took about 8 miles to get there) Laughing

Really reliable and economical never let me down... and i even sold it for a profit and i had done nothign to it except use it...

Hi

Basically a slieved down 400 Superdream engine in a different chassis. Don't expect it to be that quick. Do expect cam chain problems at some point.

Not a bad bike, just not exactly brilliant at anything.

All the best

Keith

I nearly brought one, and then realized a 1985 CB400N superdream (last version with twin disks) was cheaper and more powerful/faster.

Engines should last to about 50,000-75,000. a lot were used as courier bikes and don’t expect more than 80-90mph out of one.

Likewise, nearly bought one. took it for a ride and decided it wasnt worth the £150 the guy wanted for it.

Speaks volumes about the bike really Laughing
