brake pads and disc

right my rear disc breac has started going all colourfull
ive been told this means my break pads have had there days
time for new pads?

could be that the caliper wants freeing off, if the disc is not scored

It's better to say nothing and appear an idiot, than open your mouth and prove the point

Sounds like it's dragging. Take it apart and clean and grease all the moving parts, except the piston of coarse. The brake pads will have a marker to show when they will need replacing.
You shouldn't need the back brake that much anyway!
