Faring bolts?

Been wrestleing off the massive faring from the bike, all good fun Neutral

The Bolts are screw heads, and they are... rubbish.. The top is quite wide and the screws are way too long, which makes takeing them off take forever (especially as they haven't been off for 7 years...)

So whats out there now that will make a better job? are quick release faring bolts worth the money? or some alan bolts and propperly sized washers?

Took frickin ages to get it all off, think i'll get pretty sick of it if theres no better way Sad

You get nice stainless socket button screws with a domed head on them for that sort of job.

Dunno, if they are any good since Busters delivery times seem to be about 2 weeks now unless you pay for next day delivery, but at least they come with the rubber not so there should be less vibration at speed.

I guess it's because if the holes too small you can drill it out a bit, if it's too big, the nut and screw head will still hold in place (unless it's a ridiculously big hole, in which case buy some rubber washers as well.)

That's IMO mind, I haven't got a clue (about anything).
